Description

We are interested in theoretical and experimental quantum computing and quantum communication. The AFRL quantum information science laboratory is based on photonics, trapped ions, and superconducting technologies (post docs welcome in any of these fields). We are working on integrated waveguide devices, including foundry level design, fabrication, testing, packaging and applications. We are interesed in quantum communication protocals and quantum algorithm development on current and future commercial quantum computers. We have in house trapped ion systems and superconducting transduction refrigerators, along with other areas of theoretical and experimental quantum information processing.
