This research focuses on (1) polar and subpolar (including the Great Lakes) climate change (atmosphere, sea ice, oceanography, and ecosystem) and interactions, (2) global coupled atmosphere-ice-ocean modeling and basin-scale ocean-ice-ecosystem modeling, and (3) regional/coastal ocean and sea ice dynamics and modeling, including the Great Lakes ice-hydrodynamics-ecosystem modeling.

Experience Supplement
Postdoctoral and Senior awardees will receive an appropriately higher stipend based on the number of years of experience past their PhD.

Additional Benefits
Relocation
Awardees who reside more than 50 miles from their host laboratory and remain on tenure for at least six months are eligible for paid relocation to within the vicinity of their host laboratory.
