Description

We have developed a method for formation of horizontally formed nanochannels that allows control over diameter and location of nanochannels in a planar geometry. This experimental effort focuses on performing a feasibility study on optimizing the structure of and chemical interfaces within nanochannels and their use for sensing and separation of biomolecules such as DNA, proteins and synthetic polymers.
