Description

We measure neutron beam intensities for thermal and cold neutron beams, and develop methods to advance the accuracy of these measurements toward a goal of ±0.1 % for neutron beam intensities up to 109 neutrons/(cm2 sec). In addition, we make neutron fluence rate measurements for more complex reactor neutron fields and for fast neutron fields from accelerators and isotopic sources.
