Description

Several research projects are available in physical oceanography and geophysical fluid dynamics. The Associate is expected to use analytical and numerical methods to study physical processes involved in the formation and motion of the oceanic water masses. Particular topics include but are not limited to (1) physical properties of the oceanic mesoscale and submesoscale variability, (2) dynamics and transport characteristics of double diffusive convection, and (3) patterns and detection of stratified wakes.
