Description
The research opportunities cover a wide range of issues related to high-fidelity modeling, simulation, testing, model identification, guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) algorithms design as applied to single and multiple (homogeneous and heterogeneous combination of) collaborating autonomous sensor platforms. These include traditional and non-traditional air, ground, surface, and underwater vehicles; guided weapons; and aerodynamic decelerator systems. The Mathworks' MATLAB/Simulink development environment is used for modeling, GNC algorithms design, computer simulations, hardware-in-the-loop experimentation, real-time code development, and a posteriori data analysis and animations.
