Description

Our group focuses on research that merges materials science, biophysics, cell and molecular biology to understand various cellular processes (e.g. adhesion, migration) via precise control of biointerfaces. Our programs center around understanding how the biophysical and biochemical properties of the extracellular environment influence cellular processes and regulate cell phenotype or cell state. Due to the multi-disciplinary nature of our research, our group is seeking talented scientists spanning areas from molecular/cellular in-vitro assays, surface chemistry, live cell microscopy/quantitative image analysis, micro/nanofabrication, and machine learning/data analytics.
