Description
The project will involve the development of highly effective CFx cathodes for Li-CFx batteries. The developed science should ideally avoid the conventional route of producing CFx cathodes by the fluorination of graphite using toxic fluorine gas and high energy conditions. The ideal candidate will have synthetic experience in fluorine and organic chemistries. Additionally, experience in battery science will be a plus.
