Description
A unique opporunity at DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center (CBC) that pairs a novel K-12 STEM program with a diverse research space. Working with DoD STEM, CBC will produce a series of K-12 STEM Education videos that highlight DoD research and tie it to simple STEM activities. Defined broadly, a post-doc would assist in developing content for the videos, writing scripts, directing content, working with students, etc. This would be part of a larger team with external collaborators. The program has the broad goal of inspiring the next generation of students to pursue STEM careers within the DoD. This position would require travel for 2-3 days approximately once per month to other labs across the DoD. It is estimated that DoD STEM portion of this post-doc would require at a minimum half the time of the post-doc, but could be paired with another research opportunity across the center with Advisors' approval.
