Description

We are developing microfluidics to measure material properties and structure. Protein, polymer and surfactant solutions and suspensions and emulsions are being characterized using computer-controlled microfluidic devices with controlled flow type and shear rate. Microfluidic rheometry for small-angle x-ray scattering (SAXS) and extensional rheometry for neutron scattering are current interests.
