Description

This research program includes modeling (Matlab and Simulink), design, control and hardware demonstrations of power converters. Applications include shipboard power systems, avionics, microgrids and utility grid interface. Hardware implementation requires printed circuit board design and layout, programming of digital signal processors, field programmable gate arrays or microcontrollers to control power electronics.
