Description

Research is being conducted on numerical tide modeling, model validation, and shipboard prediction systems. Our goal is to develop a tactical scale regional tide model driven by global or large-scale regional tide models. A primary issue focuses on developing coupling boundary conditions under both wind and tide forcing. An additional research interest includes assimilation of in situ and satellite altimeter data into tide models.
