Description

The Walter Reed Biosystematics Unit (WRBU) is a unique national resource. Its mission is to conduct systematics research on medically important arthropods and to maintain the U.S. mosquito collection. We welcome innovative scientific applications that exploit new, and novel approaches to bio- and xenosurveillance, vector phylogenetics/phylogenomics, and vector diagnostics, as well as proposals addressing the taxonomy and systematics of insect vectors of human diseases, including those involved in zoonotic spillover.
